We produced 1 million pieces of this hinged contact jaw using the multi-slide stamping process. Tooling for the stamping process was designed using AUTOCAD.

Tight tolerances of 0.002” were achieved in our stamping process. The contact jaws used in electrical boxes for switching control were nickel plated to ensure optimal electrical conductivity. As the contacts were smaller in size, nickel plating was done in barrels. The contact jaws with tapped mounting holes were delivered to our client in Florida within 35 days.
